BABEL, Jeanne C. (Carrigan) Age 65 of Norwood, at home surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday Dec. 30. Daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Sullivan) Carrigan. Beloved wife of Victor J. Babel. Devoted mother of Julia C. Babel of Richmond VA, and Darius C. Babel of New York City. Loving sister of Irene Allison of LaJolla CA, Patty Hanbury and her husband Joseph of Needham, Tommy Carrigan and his wife Carolyn of Bryant Pond ME, and Kathy Keleher and her husband Brendan of Burlington VT. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday Jan. 5 from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD at 8, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood at 9. Interment Private. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Jeanne was the Co-Owner of her family business, Babel's Paint and Decorating Stores. She was a very family oriented and community focused individual.
