Thomas M. McNeil, 62, passed away February 2, 2011 with his family at his bedside. He was born December 9, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of the late Clifford and Virginia McNeil. He moved to Bradenton in June 1976. Tom is survived by his loving wife Julienne McNeil; daughter, Virginia McNeil Hadlock; stepchildren, Todd Fleck, Lisa Drenth, and Danielle Fleck; grand-children, Alexandra Hadlock, Brittney Drenth, Mollie Drenth, Tommy Tyrrell, and Tiffany Vree-land; one great-grandchild; brothers, Rick McNeil, Robert McNeil, Steven McNeil, and Christopher McNeil. Tom proudly served his country. He was a vibrant and active man. Tom was a long time member of the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society serving as the 1997 Hernando. Tom and Julienne also enjoyed riding his Harley with their close group of friends. Friends and family will miss Tom's upbeat and friendly personality. A Memorial Service will be 1p.m. Monday February 7, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 3100 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205.
