Sad to hear that Mr. Gerbino passed away -- he was my driver education teacher and he had enormous patience -- I still remember the first time he had me drive on Rte. 128 -- I was so scared -- was sure I would have an accident -- he was funny too -- had a great sense of humor.  My condolences to the family as I am sure he will be missed.     Sue Turtle (Colpas)

Mr. Gerbino was one of my favorites on the Hill. I had him for Spanish. At the time I was dating Sharon Kinne and she was also in my Spanish class. Mr. Gerbino somehow knew that there was something going on between Sharon and myself and he would slyly pit the two of us against one another in various Spanish constests, one of which I remember was "Caracoles". He always had that twinkle in his eye as if to say, "I know you what you two are up to!"  Great teacher.
