Steven Lowenstein '68

Steven Harry Lowenstein, February 22, 1950 - January 5, 2020

 

Steven Lowenstein, 69, of Bozeman, passed away January 5, 2020. Steven was born in Boston, MA February 22, 1950 to Earle Lowenstein and Edda Ranen. He attended Needham High School and Babson College.

 

Steven was in the National Guards, an Administrator for the Department of Health and involved in Church activities. He lived in Massachusetts, Colorado, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, TX and Bozeman and will be remembered as a kind, giving man.
Steven was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his brother Fred of California.

R.I.P. Steve. You were so sweet to me; my first "boy friend" in eighth grade; the new girl that had just moved to Needham from Colorado. I was so shy I couldn't speak, but you carried my books anyway.  I will always remember your beautiful smile, your gentleness, and your kindness.

Robert Leal '68

I remember Steve from Cub Scouts (his mom was our denmother) and going over his house for our meetings. He was a good guy and his mom and dad were very nice as well. RIP my den 6 brother.

I remember Steven from the John Eliot and the Newman Jr. High.  If my memory serves me right, I think he was in the band at NHS.  Quiet and kind.  Rest in Peace.
